The Casa Museum Infante Dom Henrique, or simply Casa do Infante, is an emblematic building in Porto, Portugal. It is known as the house of the old Customs and is believed to have been the birthplace of Prince Henry the Navigator, one of the most important members of the Portuguese royal family in the 15th century. As Grand Master of the Order of Christ, Henry was one of the main drivers of the exploration voyages that turned Portugal into one of the world’s major maritime powers.
